Jen's Blog

Half a Year Later...

Ok, so maybe I'm not all that cut out for the whole blogging thing!

*commence excuses* Well I have been busy, and unfortunately my own site has had to take the back seat while I did heaps of work for World of Stuff UK Ltd and Arnage Motorcare. And more recently, I have made a lovely new client in AK2 Accessories, so I'm looking forward to progessing with that one as well. That in itself may even generate some new leads, so I'm on the edge of my seat to see what happens! Here's hoping eh? Ok, done now... *end of excuses*

Oh wait, maybe I wasn't finished. Although this is more of personal life busy-ness. Following some turblent times in World of Warcraft, I have been taken in to a new guild, but not only that - they made me an officer! I was so pleasently surprised and honoured. It's hard work sometimes but I do ok I'm told! I also have become one of the main Raid Leaders, so that takes up a fair bit of time organising. I am also a main administrator for the guild's website, even though I didn't build it for them. They are tied into the site for a year, so I'm hoping after that I can pitch for their site - you can see the design I was playing with in the portfolio under the 'Concepts' section. The template itself isn't mine, but it is fantastic and I've had a good play with some modules etc for the site.

Best get back to it, the other half has found something else on World of Stuff UK Ltd that needs my attention!

Long Overdue Update

Well as you can see, the site has been overhauled again. I decided to migrate it across to Joomla for its more professional look, and also so that I could combine the main site and the blog together.

I've been really busy these past couple of months. I've had temp jobs starting and stopping, and been working heavilly on the website for World of Stuff UK Ltd with my partner Martyn. That and all my other commitments such as the pets and WoW have all been eating up my time! I've also just started playing a new MMO called Aion, so I don't ever seem to have time to think of blog stuff! Hopefully I will pick it up again though.

Nemo seems to be going through Rabbit Puberty at the moment - he's very clingy and prone to tantrums. And of course the gerbils are still breeding like... Erm, gerbils! Also we have had our very first successful hatching from a leopard gecko egg. The new baby is beautiful and eating well.

Ah well, time for bed. Got a bit of a sore throat though, I hope I'm not catching Martyn's cold! We're due to go see bro tomorrow, and I have another temp job starting Monday...

The Zoo has grown again!

Say hello to Nemo, our new rabbit, courtesy of Ann from Rabbit Avenue! He is the most beautiful, cuddly creature I have ever seen. He’s still getting used to his home at the moment, but I’m hoping that once he’s settled (and we’ve moved house ofc) I can start house training him. I am so grateful to Ann for him <3
